Uses & Features

Transfer Paper is waxed on one side. By temporarily adhering gold leaf (and other metal leaves) to the Transfer Paper, the leaf becomes easier to handle. It is especially useful when you want to avoid deformation during flat gilding. Uses / recommended for: gilding, flat gilding, mounting work (hyōgu), Nihonga (Japanese painting), student practice, etc.

Caution

  • 箔をうつした後、長時間放置すると密着が強くなり剥がれにくくなります
