発送について

1.佐川急便・ヤマト運輸・日本郵便（配送方法は当店お任せとなります）

※国内・海外ともに配送日時指定お受けできません。
※配送は準備が整い次第、3営業日以内に発送致します。
送料360円の場合はポスト投函になりますが、商品によっては佐川急便に切り替え発送するため、お受け取りのご対応をお願い致します。

※金属粉末及び液体物の沖縄・北海道・離島地域への発送は船便となります。（配達所要日数1週間から10日）

2.発送日のお知らせ

３.ご不在や宛先不明により荷物が返送された場合

宅配業者保管期間内に宅配業者へご連絡が無い場合または宛先不明の場合、商品は当店へ返送されます。返送された商品はキャンセルとみなし、ご注文を取り消させていただきます。その際発生した往復送料とカード決済手数料4％はお客様負担となります。あらかじめご了承ください。

About Kyo-Sensu

Kyo-Sensu are traditional Kyoto folding fans that have developed over more than a thousand years of the city’s history and culture.

Their origins are said to trace back to the hiōgi, a wooden fan made by binding together thin strips of Japanese cypress. This was later followed by the development of paper fans crafted by attaching paper to bamboo ribs. Over the centuries, a wide variety of fans were created for different purposes, including use at the Imperial Court, as well as in Noh and Kyogen theater, traditional dance, the tea ceremony, and the incense ceremony.

Crafting a Kyo-Sensu involves numerous processes, including shaping the bamboo ribs, preparing the layered washi paper leaf, painting and applying metal leaf, folding, inserting the ribs, and completing the final finish. Each stage is carried out by a specialist artisan, whose careful handwork gives the finished fan the delicate and graceful character associated with Kyoto craftsmanship.

Today, Kyo-Sensu continue to be cherished in everyday life not only as practical items for keeping cool, but also as objects through which to appreciate the beauty and craftsmanship passed down over their long history.
